In this Jubilee year of HOPE, what inspires us to live in hope? How do we remain hopefully faithful in times of upheaval?
St. Francis wrote the beloved Canticle of Creation in 1225, praising God’s profound goodness present in all God’s creation. St. Bonaventure developed a spiritual theology that enhances our understanding, prayer, and reflection on this masterful work. During these evenings, we will listen to the ancient wisdom of St. Francis and St. Bonaventure and how their wisdom speaks to our contemporary realities of change, chaos, and uncertainty. As we commemorate the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of Creation, as well as the feast day of St. Bonaventure on July 15, we will share the timeless treasure of their spirituality, continuing to give us nourishment for today.
