Centrally Rooted, a Dubuque-based nonprofit organization that focuses on brain health through creative expression, will launch its inaugural fundraiser, “Pianos on Parade,” during Memorial Day weekend in Dubuque.

Fifteen donated pianos will be tuned and professionally wrapped in a design consistent with the branding of business partners who can sponsor a piano. During Memorial Day weekend, the pianos will be placed in public community spaces throughout Dubuque and will be available to be viewed and played through Labor Day weekend.

Following their display, the pianos will be donated to families who use Centrally Rooted’s scholarship fund.
