Spring Tea Series
Afternoon teas at the Mathias Ham Historic Site have grown in popularity in the past year as guests enjoy an assortment of teas and snacks in the stunning 1850’s estate. The Mathias Ham House will once again play host to the Spring Tea Series this spring with three dates set in March, April, and May. Each afternoon tea will consist of a program based on the monthly theme and a time for enjoying food and drink. Menus will vary by month and allergy-aware and gluten-free options are available.
March 12, 1 PM – 3 PM: Teas of the World – Learn about customs of drinking tea in other countries. Guests will have a variety of teas to sample that are popular in other places.
April 9, 1 PM – 3 PM: Children’s Literature Tea – Children are welcome to bring their favorite book and/or come dressed as their favorite character. Attendees will sample tea and snacks enjoyed by some of our favorite literary characters!
May 14, 1 PM – 3 PM: Royal Tea – In commemoration of the coronation of King Charles, attendees will enjoy a sampling of the same treats as those celebrating in England.
The teas are open to guests of all ages and registration is required. Members receive a rate of $18/adults and $8/youth, and the non-members rate is $20/adults and $10/youth. Space is limited.
