In 2026, we commemorate the 800th anniversary of the passing of St. Francis. In this final presentation of our four-part series, co-sponsored with the Franciscan Federation, we will focus on the history, context, development, and meaning of the Canticle. Special attention will be given to the legacy, reception, and contemporary relevance of this masterpiece of ecospirituality, composed in three parts and concluded shortly before the poverello's death in 1226.
