Walking the Camino: A Lenten Journey Toward Hope and Healing with Br. Brian McLauchlin

Tuesday, March 17, 2026 06:30 PM - 08:00 PM

Join us in-person at Shalom Spirituality Center or virtually via Zoom!
Three elements are important on the Lenten journey: penance (physical challenges), reflection (encountering God through others and the beauty of nature), and renewal (spiritual growth, hope and healing). These same elements are mirrored on the Camino Santiago de Compostela, an ancient pilgrimage that begins in eastern Spain and winds its way to the Tomb of St. James. Listen to the spiritual journey of a pilgrim who recently completed the Camino and how his journey helps us to encounter Lent in a new and vibrant way.
Free-will donation only; RSVPs are appreciated for in-person attendance but required for virtual attendance.  Please RSVP online at shalomretreats.org or by calling 563.582.3592 by noon on Tuesday, March 17.
