Agnes L. Kahle

Agnes L. (Dalsing) Kahle, 90, of Platteville, WI, formerly of rural Hazel Green, WI passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Edenbrook of Platteville.

Family & friends may call from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center in Kieler, WI.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Kieler, with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Agnes was born on March 3, 1933, in Jamestown Twp. Grant County, WI, the daughter of Andrew E. and Louisa M. (Kaiser) Dalsing.  She was united in marriage to Lowell T. Kahle on April 14, 1952, at Immaculate Conception Church. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2011.

Agnes was employed at Eagle Country Market in Dubuque for 20 years and later by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism for 10 years. She enjoyed quilting, making hats for her family, fishing, and was a lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Parish.

Surviving are four children, Garry (Chris) Kahle of Little Canada, MN, Roxann (Steve) Leibfried of Cuba City, Jeff (Julia) Kahle of Hazel Green, and Karla (Jay) O’Mara of Cuba City; nine grandchildren, Aaron (Julie) Leibfried,Sara (Craig) Slager, Matt (Laura) Kahle, Kathy (Erik) Roberts, Ben Kahle, Anne (Justin) O’Rourke, Jackie (Joe) Irving, Justin O’Mara, and Tracy (Zack) Wattron; 15 great- grandchildren; a sister, Bernadine Schaefer of Platteville, and two sisters-in-law, Mary Kahle and Bernadine Wiederholt; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Irma Wiederholt, Dolores Brandt, Myrtle Weber, Delmar Dalsing, Almira Weber, and Marie Bechen.

In lieu of flowers, an Agnes L. Kahle memorial fund has been established.
