Alice C. Muenster, 78, of Dubuque, IA passed away peacefully at Stonehill Care Center on Sunday, January 27, 2019.

Alice enjoyed many activities including playing bingo, going to casinos, playing cards with her family. Alice loved making quilts and tending to her garden, where she had many different flowers. Alice worked for over 40 years for the Thermolyne Company.

Visitation will be held at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, Dubuque on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 3 to 7 PM. A prayer service will be at 6:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, February 2 at 10 AM. Interment St. Theresa Cemetery, LaMotte, IA. Fr. Dwayne Thoman will be presiding.

Beloved sister of Margaret “Marge” L. Massey, Dubuque, IA, Grace M. Knockel, of East, Dubuque, IL, Dorothy S. (George) Roepsch, of Dubuque, IA, Anna P. (Louis) Roepsch, of East Dubuque, IL, and Clarence P. (Judy) Muenster, of Dubuque, IA. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ida Muenster, a brother, Francis J. Muenster, and a brother-in-law, James J. Knockel.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of Dubuque.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Dubuque and all of the nurses at Stonehill Nursing Center for all of the care that was given to Alice in her final days.
