Anthony P. Parker, Jr.
Anthony P. Parker, Jr., a cherished son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2025, in Maquoketa, Iowa, at the age of 33. Born on November 16, 1991, in Payson, Arizona, Anthony’s life was one marked by close family ties, a passion for technology, and a love for sports.
Raised in a loving home by his mother, Patricia Sheire, and stepfather, Jacob Sheire Sr., Anthony’s early years were filled with the warmth of family and the joys of childhood. He was a graduate of Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada, where he completed his studies in May of 2010.
Anthony’s professional life included a period of dedicated service at CarMax, and in November of 2023, he made the move to Iowa, where he continued to build his life and make lasting connections with those around him.
An avid gamer and tech enthusiast, Anthony was always at the forefront of the latest technological advancements. His passion for gaming brought him joy and provided a platform for connecting with others who shared his interests. Anthony’s love for football was equally strong, and he was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings.
Family was the cornerstone of Anthony’s world. He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Sheire of Tempe, Arizona; stepfather, Jacob (Marcy) Sheire Sr. of Payson, Arizona; and his siblings, Kyle (Sylvia) Parker, Jacob (Kylee) Sheire Jr., Chance Parker, Justyce Parker, Uriah Parker, Kiara Ann Reed, and Kenna Elizabeth Reed. His maternal grandfather, Raynaldo Gonzales of Tempe, Arizona, and paternal step-grandparents, Denise and Nick Nichols of Queen Creek, Arizona, and Mike and Sharon Sheire of Sun City, Arizona,
Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Isabell Bazan, and his aunt, Victoria Gonzales.
A gathering of family and friends celebrating his life will be held from 4 to 7 P.M., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Ingle family home, 601 West Platt Street, Maquoketa, Iowa 52060. A celebration of Life will also be held in Arizona and will be announced soon.
