April D. Kohler 45, of Dubuque died February 22, 2024, at Harmony Care Center in Dubuque, after a battle with stomach cancer.

A private family memorial will be held later this summer.

April was born June 14, 1978, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield IL. to Rick A. Kohler and Debra S. Kuhar.

She attended Elgin High School. April was self-employed and moved to Iowa in 2004 where she started her family. She was a very strong and independent woman. She enjoyed cooking and loved her kids.

April is survived by her children Logan (18), Ashlyn (14), and Austin Bassett.; mother Debra Kuhar; brothers Ricky (Katie) Kohler, and Kris (Lauren) Kohler.

She in preceded in death by her father Rick.
