Betty J. Frick, age 74, of Dubuque, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025.  In keeping with Betty’s wishes, there will not be a public service.  Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting Betty’s family.

Betty was born on March 9, 1951, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of George and Mary “Betty” (Kemp) Herman.

Betty worked in the mail room at the Telegraph Herald for 30+ years until her retirement.  Her family was extremely important to her.  Betty loved spending time with all of her family members, even the furry four legged ones.  She was a wonderful mom and sister and we will miss her more than words can say.

Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include

her daughter,
Mickie (Josh Thomas) Yager, Bernard, IA;

her siblings,
George “Ed” Herman, East Dubuque, IL
and Janis Groh, Dubuque, IA;

a sister-in-law,
Rita Bisping, Dubuque, IA;

and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Georgia (Thomas) Glab; and a step-brother, Herb Bisping.
