Beverly Ann (Sand) Tippe, 90, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of East Dubuque, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Bethany Home in Dubuque, surrounded by her family.

Bev was born on January 23, 1935, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of William J. and Edna Mae (Williams) Sand. She attended East Dubuque High School. Bev was united in marriage to Fred Tippe, they later divorced.

She was formerly employed at the Dubuque Packing Co., Osco Drug, Bishops, Zayres, and was a favorite bartender in East Dubuque.

Surviving are her children, Debra (Dean) Jorgensen, Cherie Ray, Jane Tippe, Sue Kammerude and James Tippe; her 16 grandchildren, Eric (Angie) Beauchamp, Lisa Galle, Brian (Rachel) Beauchamp, Melissa Galle, Andrea (Tony) Huebbe, Alina Davis, Ashley McClain, Alecia Hoffman, Sarah Anthoney, Stacey (Jason) Richardson, Jonathon Rutan, Chad (Kim) Duve, Tyler Kueter, Katie Kammerude and Maranda Bogue; 37- great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren, Charlotte, Emersyn, Salem, Apollo and Lydia; her sister, Linda Slaats and sister-in-law, Joleen Sand.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edna; her son Timothy Tippe; brothers, Gene Sand, Bill Sand and Mike O’Rourke.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff at Bethany Home, especially Vicky, Mercedes, Shawn and Shane, and Hospice of Dubuque for the wonderful care provided to our mother and grandmother.

Family and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, IL, where funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m.  Burial will be held in the East Dubuque Cemetery.
