She is preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents, and parents-in-law Walter and Lilian McFadden, a baby girl due to miscarriage, along with several brothers and sisters-in-law.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund in Carol’s name has been established.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Hospice of Dubuque, especially Kelli, the nurses and staff at Stonehill Health Center, and Dr. Angela Kelley and her care team, for their care and compassion given to Carol and her family.

Carol always wanted her obituary to be short and sweet. If you knew Carol, she has probably already told you ALL of her stories.
