Christine A. Stephens-Lovell, 53, of Dubuque, IA., passed away November 15, 2025, at MercyOne in Dubuque.

A celebration of life for Christine will take place at a later date. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

Christine was born December 20, 1971, in Darlington, WI., the daughter of Ronald and Rebecca (Schwartz) Stephens. She graduated from Darlington High School and took classes at NICC in Peosta, IA.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, camping, bowling, attending local dirt track racing, and watching NASCAR, cheering on her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Christine is survived by her three children: Kimberleigh (Matthew) Rasmussen of Lake Elmo, MN., Zachary (Brittany) Lovell, and Dakota (Jenna) Lovell both of Cuba City, WI.; her mother, Rebecca Stephens; seven grandchildren: Annie and Elise Taylor, Leah Rasmussen, Bo, Axton, Mavrick and Myles Lovell, with another one expected in May of 2026; siblings, Cynthia Stephens and Jason (special friend Angie Reddington) Stephens; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Stephens, and other close family members.

A memorial fund for Christine has been established.
