Constance “Connie” J. Meyer, 71, of Holy Cross, Iowa, passed away on April 22, 2026, at home.

Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Connie was born on February 27, 1955, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Eugene and Virginia (Olson) Sand. She received her associate’s degree in nursing. In December of 2004, Connie was united in marriage to John Meyer.

Connie was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, John; her children, Paul (Bridget) Bartlett, Matthew (Nicole) Bartlett, Carleen, Micheal, and Wendy; grandchildren, Miranda, David, Dalton, Colton, Haley, Aiden, Sawyer, Kao, and Cyra; great-grandchildren, Silas, Rylie, and Coulson; her brother, Chris (Nickolet) Sand; and two nieces, Izzy and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque, all of the nurses and staff that helped Connie with chemo, and all of the extended family and friends.
