Cynthia L. Eudaley

Cynthia “Cindy” L. Eudaley, 72, of Dubuque, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3860 Asbury Rd., Dubuque. Private burial will be at Linwood Cemetery at a later date.

Cindy was born September 16, 1946 in Dubuque, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Maus) Schweikert. She was a cosmetologist for 32 years, and owned and operated Cindy’s Head Shed in Dyersville. She also worked at Floor Show in Dubuque for many years. Cindy poured her heart and soul in to everything she did. She was a loyal friend to many, and loved by all who knew her.

A loving mother and grandmother, her daughters and grandchildren were the center of her world. She rarely missed a sporting event, concert, or any other social event her grandkids were involved with. She especially loved listening to Maddy sing, watching Brittni play volleyball, and Cole and Conner playing baseball. She was a huge fan of Beckman Baseball and the Dyersville Whitehawks. Cindy was always the life of the party, she had an exceptional sense of humor and her laugh was infectious. There wasn’t a dance floor she didn’t love.

Cindy is survived by two daughters, Jodi (Doug) Klostermann of Dyersville and Wendy (Brent) Wright of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren Cole and Conner (friend Lauren Faust) Klostermann, and Brittni and Madison Wright; former spouse Rick Eudaley of Ft. Myers, FL, her sister, Sonja (Martin) Arensdorf of Dubuque; her brother Tom (Jan) Schweikert of Dubuque; and several nieces and nephews, Tami Hill, Amy (Jerry) Turner, Brett (Pam) Arensdorf, Drew Arensdorf, Brad Schweikert, and Jennifer (Tony) White.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

We would like to thank Hospice, especially Edna, Jenny, and Julie for their kindness and support. Our mother’s passing was one of love and peace and we thank you for making this last memory of her one of dignity and grace.

We also wish to thank the Doctors and staff at Grand River Oncology, especially Dr. Herman and Dr. Heiar.
