Daniel W. Siegert, 51, of Peosta, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at his home in Peosta, Iowa.

Visitation for Daniel will be held from 8 a.m. until noon, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Peosta, Iowa, where services will be held at 12:30, with Rev. Steven Garner presiding.  Burial will be held in St. John’s Cemetery in Centralia, Iowa.

He was born December 7, 1973, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of William and Janet (McKenna) Siegert.  He is a graduate of Hempstead High School in Dubuque, Iowa.  On February 7, 2014, he was united in marriage to Trish Webley in Cancun, Mexico.

Dan was hardworking, ran the family farm, and took pride in showing his Siegert Swiss.   He could also be the life of the party and enjoyed a goodtime, he particularly looked forward to a tropical vacation every year.  He was an avid Brewers and Hawkeye fan.  Most of all he was very proud of his family and appreciated the times spent with them.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish in Peosta and a member of the Iowa Brown Swiss Association.

He is survived by his wife, Trish Siegert of Peosta; his children, Mallory Siegert of Tampa, FL,
Jayden Siegert, Carson Siegert, and Amber Siegert all of Peosta and Chris Webley of Santee,
CA; one grandchild, Pheonix Webley; his mother Janet Siegert of Peosta; his siblings, Peggy (Mark) Kass of Peosta, Thomas (Melissa) Siegert, Sandra (Mark) La Rue, and David Siegert all of Dubuque, Wayne Siegert of Minneapolis, MN, Cynthia (Dan) Hilkin of Dubuque; his mother-in-law, Marie Papke of Santee, CA, his sisters-in-laws, Michelle (Mark) Webley of El Cajon, CA and Lindsay Williams of Santee, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, William A. Siegert and his father-in-law, Andrew Webley.
