Darlene J. Rang, 91, of Dubuque died Sunday, October 4, 2026. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 pm Wednesday at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road. A private burial will take place at Center Grove Cemetery.

Darlene was born July 10, 1935 in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Dora (Oberfoell) Breitbach and John Fox and step daughter to Leo Breitbach.

She was married to Larry Turner, and he preceded her in death. She then married Ken Rang on November 30, 1974. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2026.

Darlene loved family, friends, grandchildren, her dogs, baking, flowers, quilting, sewing, and taking trips to Hawaii.

She is survived by three children, Darby (Scott) Johnson of Olympia, WA, Brett Turner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Lance Turner of Everett, WA; grandchildren, Darrah (Joshua Kinne) Johnson and Rosalyn (Cameron Winterer) Johnson both of Washington State; two sisters, Sharon Fox and Gloria (Gene) Beau both of Dubuque; nieces and nephews including a special niece, Sandy Marti; and special friend and neighbor, Delores Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother in law, Betty and Phil Langas and a brother, John “Bucky” Fox.
