David J. Kenniker
David J. Kenniker, age 63, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on October 22, 2026, at UnityPoint-Finley Hospital while surrounded by his loving family. To honor David’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving David’s family.
David was born on September 21, 1963, in Dubuque, IA, a son to Kay and Jackie (Buscher) Kenniker. He had a zest for life and the open road which he soon began chasing early on in life. He spent the majority of his working career driving truck and invested his time and talents with various companies throughout the years. Golden Eagle Express, Ney Trucking, Hirschbach Motor Lines, Horsfield Construction and finally with Bard Materials. David enjoyed life behind the wheel and considering that he enjoyed traveling also, it was surely a perfect fit.
In his free-time, David enjoyed playing the guitar and if he could squeeze a Rush song or two into the session; life was good. We are going to miss David moving forward and our hearts break at the mere thought of his absence from our daily lives now. May the Lord be gracious with his tender mercies for all of us left behind and may he hold David securely in His grace-filled arms until we all meet again.
Those left behind to cherish the memory of David include,
his three sons,
David Kenniker, Jr., Dubuque, IA,
Timothy (Monika Moeller) Kenniker, Darlington, WI,
and Nick Feyen, Dubuque, IA;
his two grandchildren,

Jackie Kenniker, Dubuque, IA;
his siblings,
