Debra (Klaas) Hymen, 75, died Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Private graveside services will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Road is entrusted with arrangements.

Debra was born on October 23, 1951, the daughter of Urban and Jean Klaas.

She attended Wahlert High School and went onto nurses training at St. Anthony’s School of Nursing in Rock Island, IL. She married Howard Hymen and they resided in Chicago, IL.

She is survived by her siblings, Cheryl (Mike) Orndorf, Bonnie (Don) Westemeier, Raymond (Diane) Klaas, Donna (Rick) Roeder, Herbert (Karen) Klaas, and Darin (Kris) Klaas; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Julie; and brother, Joey.
