Donna was born on December 16, 1934, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of John and Beulah (McNamer) Moore and loving step-father Vince Loeffelholz.
Donna was united in marriage to the love of her life, David “Bud” Duve, in 1949, and the cute couple were blessed with 61 years, and 18 adored children together, before Bud was sadly called home ahead of her on February 6, 2010. Donna was a devoted full time wife, mother and homemaker, who with 18 children, always had plenty to keep her busy and on her toes. When she was able to get a little time to herself, Donna enjoyed heading out to the Knights of Columbus bingo hall to spend time with friends and try her luck, hoping to bring home a big windfall. She also enjoyed spending time outside fishing with the family, and going on the occasional shopping trip, always keeping an eye out for a great bargain. There was never any denying that the one thing that brought the most joy into Donna’s days was spending time with her abundant family, especially the grandchildren, it never mattered to her what they were doing, just that they were all together. We are deeply saddened at the sudden loss of our beautiful, sweet, loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, great great-grandma and sister, but know that she is now happily reunited with her beloved husband, sons and grandson, free of the health issues she’s battled these past few months.
