Donna L. Lange
Donna Lee Lange, 81, of Dubuque, was welcomed with open arms by our Lord and Savior, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Luther Manor in Dubuque.Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory.
The Funeral Service for Donna will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Mike Lopez officiating. Burial will be at Center Grove Cemetery in Dubuque.
Donna was born March 28, 1944, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Joseph H. and Dorothy Mae L. (Hagensten) Bradley. On April 18, 1998, she married Gerald “Jerry” Lange at Wesley United Church in East Dubuque, IL. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2019. She was later married to Paul Weydert at Word of Life Church in Dubuque on September 7, 2023.
Donna graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1963. Along with keeping everything going at home, Donna also worked as a cook and assistant activities director at Luther Manor for several years.
Donna was a woman of deep faith, with God always at the center of her life. Her strong faith guided her daily actions and relationships. She found great joy in dancing and sharing life with her close circle of friends and her family.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Weydert of Dubuque; two children, Sherry (Kevin) Kurtz of East Dubuque, IL, and Dave (Linda) Soat of Dubuque; four grandchildren, Katelyn (Brandon) Weber, Cory (Nylah) Kurtz, Christa Kurtz, and Shaun Albert; two great-grandchildren, Eric Albert and Kari Kurtz; and two siblings, Vance (Becky) Bradley and Lavonne Thompson.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry; one daughter, Julie Albert; and one sister, Gloria Weydert.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Hospice of Dubuque, especially Buffy, and the staff at Luther Manor, especially Jennifer and Connie, for all of the loving care they provided.
