EC Braem, age 48, of Dubuque, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at home.  In keeping with his family’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.  Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting his family.

EC was born on October, 20, 1976, in Dubuque, the son of Thomas and Sharon (McElmeel) Braem.

He attended school in Dubuque and graduated from Dubuque Hempstead High School Class of 1995.  EC then attended University of Iowa and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree.

He was employed with Copyworks in Dubuque for 25 years.  EC was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed reading graphic novels since he was 5 years old.  He also enjoyed going to the movies and liked all types of films.

Those left to cherish EC’s memory include

and his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

EC was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Braem on May 5, 2021.
