George Campbell Settle, 78 of Elizabeth WV, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his residence after a long illness.  He was born in Calhoun County the son of the Late Otho and Goldie (Campbell) Settle. a 1966 Graduate of Wirt County High School. After High School George joined the United States Army, after his service in the Army he settled in Iowa and retired from John Deere Dubuque Works in repairs, after 30 years of service. Him and his wife returned home to Wirt County after retirement. He enjoyed Camping and working on cars.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 32 years Kathy Settle, Children Chuck Settle of Iowa, Tanya Willis of Texas, Tony Schmitt of Iowa, Terry Schmitt of Tennesse, Tina, Jason, Kevin and Suzan. 14 Grandchildren. Siblings: Aretta Schoolcraft of Glenville, WV, and Charles Settle of Tuppers Plains, OH.

In addition to both his parents he was preceded in death by Sisters, Adaline Snider, Idell Goff, Ona Paxton and Audrey Walter. Brothers Seymour Settle, Lee Roy Settle, Virgil Settle, Benjamin Settle and Sheral Settle.

Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In accordance too his wishes there will be no service.
