Gloria also had a great passion for baking, often sharing her delicious treats with family and colleagues, a true labor of love. She was known for her captivating personality and was truly the “life of the party,” bringing cheer and laughter to every gathering.

Her greatest happiness was her ever-growing family, which included 20 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren. She truly cherished her role as a grandma.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Marita “Sadie” Albert; her husband, Edward H. Lehman; her sister, Mary Vandermuelen; her son, James “Jim” Lehman (who passed away on January 18, 2023); her son-in-law, Jay Johnson; her daughter-in-law, Patricia “Pat” Lehman; and four great-grandchildren, Shawn Lehman, Olivia Rodenberg, Max Rodenberg, and Terrence Gazar.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on July 24, 2025, at Holy Ghost Parish-Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Gloria’s family extends their deepest gratitude to the nurses of Hospice of Dubuque and the staff of Accura HealthCare of Cascade. Their exceptional kindness, compassionate care, and unwavering grace provided immense consolation to Gloria and her loved ones during her final days. It was a particular blessing that her granddaughter, Miranda, a dedicated member of the Accura HealthCare of Cascade team, was able to provide extra tender loving care, offering Gloria profound comfort in her last moments.

Gloria’s legacy of kindness, tireless effort, unwavering compassion, and her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by her extensive family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
