James G. Brimeyer

James G. “Jim” Brimeyer, 53, of East Dubuque, IL, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at home of natural causes

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2021 at the East Dubuque Cemetery, with Deacon Jamie Schilling officiating.

Visitation is from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque. Due to State and CDC guidelines facemasks are required

Jim was born on February 16, 1968 in Monroe, Wisconsin, the son of Gary and Susan (Molitor) Werner.  Following Gary’s sudden death on November 23, 1973, Jim was later adopted by Richard E. “Dick’ Brimeyer.

He was a graduate of Wahlert High School in Dubuque, and obtained his graphic arts degree from M.A.T.C., Madison, WI. Jim was employed at Shepherd Printing & Graphics in East Dubuque, and later at the John Deere Dubuque Works as an inspector on Line 151. He was a member of U.A.W. Local # 94.

Jim loved bowling and was a member of a team that bowled at Sunset Lanes in Dickeyville, WI. He loved his toys, especially his White souped up Chevrolet pickup.

Surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Gary Werner, father and mother, Richard “Dick” and Susan Brimeyer.
