Janaan M. Milcoff
Janaan M. Milcoff, 98, of Sun Prairie, WI, formerly of Dubuque died Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Prairie Gardens Assisted Living in Sun Prairie.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory.
The Funeral Service for Janaan will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Karen Candee officiating. Burial will be in Rockdale Cemetery in Dubuque at a later date.
Janaan was born February 6, 1928, in Dubuque, the daughter of Fred H. and Elizabeth G. (Graf) Beau. She was united in marriage to Leo Milcoff and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1965.
She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1947. Janaan was a seamstress at Flexsteel Industries for 25 ½ years, retiring in 1990.
Janaan was a member of Summit United Church of Christ. She always enjoyed gathering around the table for a lively game of euchre, taking camping trips, traveling to new places, and spending time at the bowling alley. Above all, she treasured her family and the laughter, stories, and memories shared during family gatherings.
Survivors include two children, Thomas (Jane) Milcoff of Cedar Rapids, IA and Elizabeth (Craig) Havlik of Sun Prairie, WI; daughter-in-law, Diane Milcoff of Spring Grove, PA; six grandchildren, Polly Brooks, Tony (Michelle) Milcoff, Amanda (Tom) Vroom, Adam (Charlotte) Milcoff, Abbie (Adrian) Baylor, and James Weig II; 10 great-grandchildren, Mason, Mikayla, Skila, Genna, Grayson, Payton, Joseph, Robert, Susan and Zoe; one great-great-grandchild, Delilah; and brother, Eugene D. (Gloria) Beau of Dubuque.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Steve and Timothy; and sister, Shirley Hurlburt.
