Jeanette was born September 4, 1927, the daughter of August and Melvina (Dettmann) Hempeler.  She married Ardo Sprank on August 11, 1962, he passed October 10, 1978.  Jeanette worked for Bellevue State Bank and sold Watkins Products.  She enjoyed many activities with her husband, turtle hunting, outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Judy Sprank of Bettendorf, and Jamie Sprank of Bellevue; a granddaughter, Taylor (Blake) Dowell; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John Ardo Sprank on September 25, 2014; siblings, Arlyn (Lena) Hempeler, and Joanne (Wayne) Venter; brothers and sisters in-law, Leo Sprank, Clara (Charles) Lucke, Martha (Sylvester) Schwager, Edna (John) Leonard, Mavis (Leo) Meier, and Peter (Mary Anna) Sprank.
