Jeffrey J. Kieffer

Jeffrey J. “Kieffy” Kieffer, age 64, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on March 12, 2026, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Jeff’s life, a private family burial will be held at Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jeff’s family.

Jeff was born on September 24, 1961, in Dubuque, IA, a son to John Henry and Virginia Mae (Tittle) Kieffer.  He always enjoyed the outdoors and if the opportunity to sit on the shore with his fishing pole in hand, or hunting season for morels was upon us, you could be sure to find Jeff participating in both whenever possible.  He spent many years working with his friends at the Pepsi Company in Dubuque and was always there to help as much as possible.  Jeff lived life on his terms and kept things simple as much as he could.  We are going to miss him more than he could ever know and pray that he is now free from his earthly health battles as his eternal life begins.

Those left behind to cherish the memory of Jeff include,

his siblings,
Connie (Earl Harry) McDonald, Strawberry Point, IA,
Dean (Lori) Cady, Bellevue, IA,
and Joe (Donna) Cady, Pineville, LA;

his aunt,
Debbie (Randy Brandenburg) Heim, Dubuque, IA;

along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-uncles, extended family, friends and neighbors.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, John “Jack” Kieffer and Virginia (Tittle) Kieffer; his sister, Kimmy Kieffer, his twin uncles, Bob Tittle and Richard Tittle; and his grandparents, Henry (Geneva) Kieffer, Carl (Olive) Heim and George Tittle.

Jeff’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Hospice of Dubuque for all of their professional and compassionate care.  We would also like to express a sincere thank you to Aunt Deb (Randy Brandenburg) Heim and their daughter, Parnisha (Walter) Miller for their love and support over the years.
