Judith E. Denlinger

Judith Emma Denlinger, 81, of Hordville, NE formerly of Dubuque, IA passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at home.

To honor Judy there will be a celebration of life, held at a later date.

Judith was born on October 7, 1943 to Frank and Margaret (Hanson) Sarazin in Dubuque. She graduated from East Dubuque High School. Judy married her loving husband Dave in 1980. She was a homemaker for several years before becoming employed at Heritage Manor.

In 2023 she moved to Nebraska to be closer to her daughter Sherri.

While we are saddened by her departure, we celebrate the countless moments of joy and laughter she brought to all of us. Judy’s vibrant personality was apparent the minute she entered the room. Judy made every moment, a special one. In her free time Judy was devoted to her family and friends. You could find her singing karaoke with Dave, Tony and friends, crafting with Jade and Emma,  playing Aggravation with Austin and Addison, baking with Paislee, Henry and Penelope or talking to Sylvia, Kim, Roxy or countless others on the phone.  Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who approached each day as an opportunity to make others feel special.
