Julie A. Guglielmotto
Julie A. Guglielmotto, age 65, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey suddenly on February 14, 2026. To honor Julie life, a private family Celebration of Life is being held. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Julie’s family.
Julie was born on February 23, 1960, in Marshalltown, IA, a daughter to William and Irene (Steinbach) Brown. She was gifted with a kind and loving spirit which she generously shared with those she love and adored throughout her 65 years among us. Julie was blessed to spend over 25 years with her soul-mate, Dennis Guglielmotto, and they made the most of each day as it presented itself. She also invested her working hours with numerous businesses around the area over the years. She worked at FDL, the Holiday Inn, was a CNA/Cook at Stonehill, Mercy Environmental Services and Hills & Dales. Most recently she was a cook for HACAP in Dubuque and worked at the I’m On Ice Arena where she was lovingly known as “Grandma Julie” to many of the kiddos in her life.
In her free-time, Julie’s favorite place to be was sitting contently at her crafting table working on her latest creations. She was also a talented cook who would make many delicious meals for her family and friends. Julie could be found enjoying a little outdoor therapy in her flower gardens during the summer months and if a little time was found in her day to simply sit and enjoy her hummingbirds at the feeders, Julie was surely in her happy place. She was also a proud breast cancer survivor and fought the good fight when required. We are going to miss our dear Julie more than words could accurately depict and it breaks our hearts to know that her last trip to the casino to try her luck was the last one she’ll ever make now. Thank you, Julie, for being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and may the Lord grant you peace now as we seek comfort from the pain of your absence until we all see your beautiful smile once again.
