Kathleen Marie Klein, 63, of Dubuque passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Unity Point, Finley Hospital.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 21 at Egelhof, Siegert, & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy Rd, Dubuque. A Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 6:00 pm.

Kathleen was born June 19, 1960, daughter of Jan and Patricia (Harris) Glew. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School.

Kathleen married Dennis Klein on November 5th, 1987.

She worked at Regency Printing for many years before joining Medical Associates as a receptionist at the East campus until she was forced to retire due to illness.

Kathleen lived for her Grandson’s, Clay and Dakota. Her favorite hobbies were going shopping and going out with friends. She always enjoyed going out to dinner and playing cards to finish the night. She loved to play bingo and pull the lever on the slot machines at the local casinos. She loved her family above all and would do anything for them, especially for “The Boys” Clay and Dakota.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; Children, Tim Palmer of Dubuque, Cindy Nierling of Sherrill; Grandson’s, Clay and Dakota; Brother’s, Steve Glew of Lutz, FL., Scott (Tina) Glew of Montana; Step Daughter, Shelly (Randy) Williams and their children, Kayla, Lucas, Landen of Asbury; Step Son, Kevin (Colleen) Klein and their children, Chloe and Brynlee of St. Catherine’s; Sister-in-law, Julie Konzen; Brother-in-law, Kerry Klein both of Dubuque; Nieces and Nephews, Sam, Adam, and Edith Glew of Oregon, and Mike Gavin of Dubuque.

She was preceded in by her parents, Jan and Patricia Glew.
