Kevin L. Frey, 54, of Dubuque, died Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Dubuque Specialty Care in Dubuque.

A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at a later date.

Kevin was born August 24, 1967, in Edmonds, WA, the son of Thomas Byrnes and Ruth Ann Richard Frey.

He worked as a semi truck driver, a chef, and also tiled floors.

He enjoyed watching eagles at the dam, cooking and hog roasts, camping, loving his dog, Zeva, and taking his nieces and nephews to the River, and loved visiting Florida.

Survivors include his Dad, Thomas Frey of Dubuque and his mom Ruth Winger of Dubuque; one sister, Brenda Kaiser of Cuba City, WI; two brothers, Thomas Frey of Dubuque, and Darryl (Cheryl) Frey of Scales Mound, IL, special godson, Angus Frey, and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A special thank you to Hospice of Dubuque, as well as the nurses and aids at Dubuque Specialty Care for their care of Kevin.
