Landon J. Eby, 28, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021.

A funeral service celebrating Landon’s life will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, September 13, 2021, at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M., at funeral home.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Landon Jack Eby was born on January 3, 1993 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Robert Joseph and Stacy Lynn (Carr) Eby Jr.  He attended Maquoketa schools.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, and riding dirt bikes and ATV’s.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Keelynn Eby of Maquoketa, IA, Jaxon Eby of Maquoketa, IA, and Maverik Eby of Maquoketa, IA; his girlfriend of 13 years, Morgan Simmons; his mother, Stacy Eby of Maquoketa, IA; brother, Tyson (Kelly Allin) Eby of Denver, CO; his paternal grandmother, Linda Eby of Wyoming, IA; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harold “Jack” and Muriel Carr, paternal grandfather Robert Joseph Eby Sr., his father Robert Joseph Eby Jr., and a son Dreyton Reid Eby.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Landon Jack Eby memorial fund has been established.
