Leo F. Bly, age 70, of Rialto, CA,  passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, peacefully in his sleep while recovering from cardiac surgery.  To celebrate  Leo’s life, private family services were held.  Behr Funeral Home is assisting Leo’s family.  Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.Leo was born on March 2, 1955, in Dubuque, son of Duane and Shirley (Thier) Bly.

He graduated from Wahlert High School and Loras College in Dubuque before moving to California.  Leo met Barbara Jackson and they were married in 2000.  She sadly passed away after only 9 years of marriage.  He has been residing in California for over 40 years.

Leo was employed by several service oriented organizations.  During that time he traveled to Egypt, Turkey and Machu Pichu in Peru.  He purchased books written by authors who wrote about those countries and had them signed by the authors at their book signing.  A collection of over 100 of his books will be donated to the appropriate places.
For the past 10 years, Leo was a realtor at Dynasty Real Estate in Rialto, California.

and his nieces and nephews.

Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, his father, Duane, his step-father, Paul Kalb and a brother-in-law, Patrick Fridlington.
