Lillian I. Berns, 96, of Luxemburg formerly of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Accura HealthCare of Cascade, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from 2 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo.  Visitation will continue at the funeral home from 9 – 10 a.m., prior to funeral services.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2023 at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo with burial in Garnavillo City Cemetery.

Lillian was born on November 10, 1926 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, the daughter of Otto and Edith (White) Titlbach. She married Decellis Berns on September 21, 1948 in Prairie du Chien, WI.

Lillian enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, fishing and camping. She loved to play cards and board games with family and friends. She also loved to dance and listen to music, especially Lawrence Welk.

Survivors include her children: Debra Lee (Ambrose) Heisler, Albert Berns; grandchildren: Jessica Rhodes, Adam Rhodes; and a great-grandson, Callan Rhodes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Decellis; siblings: John Titlbach, Ernie Titlbach, Lucille Benhart, Joe Titlbach; in-laws: Mary Titlbach, Luella Titlbach, Cordelia Titlbach, Les Benhart, and Lois Titlbach.
