Linda M. Morgan
Linda Marie Morgan, age 81, of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. To honor Linda’s life, a private family service is being held. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Linda’s family.
Linda was born on March 20, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, IA, to Frank E. and Margaret J. (Campagna) Shaw. She eventually met the love of her life, Jerry Morgan, Sr., on the 3rd Avenue bridge, and the two were united in marriage on July 14th, 1960. They spent 63 wonderful years together raising their family. Linda did work outside of the home for over 30 years at Waldenbooks. She made many friends there, not only with her fellow co-workers but with many of the customers who called her “The Book Lady.” Linda enjoyed playing bridge, doing crossword puzzles, and reading, in addition to spending time with her family. You could also find her enjoying her favorite beverage with a little salt and lime.
