Lisa M. Manning

Lisa M. Manning, age 54, of Dyersville, IA, completed her earthly journey suddenly on April 8, 2026, at UnityPoint-Finley Hospital in Dubuque while surrounded by her sons, Scott and Logan, her daughter, Ariel, her mother, Connie and her daughters-in-law, Madie, Samantha and Marissa.  To honor Lisa’s life, her family will have a private gathering at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Lisa’s family.

Lisa was born on August 6, 1971, in Harvey, IL, a daughter to George and Connie (Williams) Galazin.  She was a kind and caring soul who loved her family and treasured her friends throughout her 54 years among us.  She invested her working years primarily as a CNA at Mount St. Francis, but spent some time with her friends at Grand Harbor as well.  Sadly, health issues eventually took their toll on Lisa’s daily life and work became a challenge, but she faithfully did what she could with each opportunity that came her way.

In her free-time, Lisa found many ways to share her love and joy with the world around her.  A night at the races was always a welcomed event, but a relaxing weekend camping with her loved one’s by her side was never passed up.  She was an animal lover at heart as well and her canine and feline companions were always content to be in her loving care.  But for those who knew Lisa best, having her grandkids nearby was undeniably her happy place.  Throw a little old school country and western music on in the background, and all was right with the world in her heart and mind.  We are going to miss Lisa’s outgoing and gentle spirit moving forward, but we know that her earthly health battles were slowly but surely becoming more than she could bravely manage.  We are forever grateful for the years and love we were blessed to experience because of Lisa’s time with us and now only wait to see her beautiful and contagious smile yet once again.  Thank you, Lisa for all of the lessons and legacy you leave behind and may the Lord keep you safe and secure in His loving arms until we all meet again.
