Margaret A. “Peg” Kircher, 80, of Dubuque, died Saturday, February 04, 2023 at Assisi Village.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 Kennedy Road where there will be a parish wake service at 6:30 pm.  Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 am Friday at St. Columbkille’s Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Mt. Peg was born July 23, 1942 in Dubuque, daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth (Graham) Vogel.

She graduated from the Visitation Academy

On September 2, 1967, she married James Kircher at Nativity Catholic Church.  He preceded her in death on July 9, 2017.

Peg was a person of service.  She quietly spent her life helping to make people’s lives better.

She was a member of St. Colubmkille’s Parish.

She is survived by Mike (Beth) Kircher, of Dubuque and their children, Katherine, Bridget, Maria and Theresa; Annemarie (Dennis) Day of Dubuque, and their children, Maggie, Jake, and Adeline Olson and Maddy and Ethan Day; Kathy Arlen, of Grand Rapids, MI, and her children Connor, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Natalie.

She is also survived by three siblings, Jim (Suzette) Vogel, Bob Vogel, and Maribeth Vogel; and several nieces and nephews.
