Margaret M. “Marg” Callaghan, age 66, of Hazel Green, WI, passed away at 6:01 p.m., on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Harmony Dubuque.  Inurnment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date.  Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting the family.

Marg was born on February 4, 1957, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of William and Elaine (Heles) Callaghan.

Marg was employed as a LPN at several places throughout the years.  She most recently worked at Finley Hospital for several years until her retirement.  She met Meredith Rumble while working in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and they have been together ever since.  They married on September 15, 1992, and have happily lived their lives together for 31 years.  Marg was a homebody who loved her family and animals.  She also liked to travel to new places near home when she found the time.  Marg also liked to indulge in a little retail therapy on occasion.  She had a big personality and will be greatly missed.

Marg was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, R. Joseph Callaghan.

Marg’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Harmony Dubuque, Caring Initiatives Hospice and the staff of Paramount Ambulance for the care they provided for Marg.
