Mark H. Schuster, 68, of Dyersville, Iowa, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at his home in Dyersville, Iowa.

Friends and relatives of Mark may call from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa. Friends may also call after 9 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial for Mark will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Basilica St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Dyersville, Iowa with Rev. Dennis Conway presiding. Burial will be held at a later date.

Mark was born October 10, 1949 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, son of Howard and Delpha (Smith) Schuster. He is a graduate of Beckman High School in Dyersville, IA and Ellsworth Community College. He was united in marriage to Marie McDermott on August 28, 1970 at the Basilica St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Dyersville, IA. He was a Salesmen and a Computer Technician and worked for Crescent Electric Supply Company.

He was a member of Basilica St. Francis Xavier Parish in Dyersville, Iowa. He was one of the founders of the Dyersville Jaycees and was involved with the Boy Scouts program.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Schuster of Dyersville, IA; one daughter, Erin (Teresa) Gilbertson of Oregon, WI; two grandchildren, Teagan and Gracen Gilbertson; father and mother, Howard and Delpha Schuster of Edgewood, IA; four siblings, Randy (Deb) Schuster of North Buena Vista, IA, Mickey (John) McNulty of Ireland, Mary (Darrel) Willadsen of Oregon, WI, and Pam (Tony) Ostwinkle of Edgewood, IA; one brother-in-law, Dean Butler of Dubuque, IA.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one sister, Patti Butler.
