Matthew S. Hendron
Matthew S. “Matt” Hendron, age 27, of Madison, Wisconsin and formerly of Dubuque, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at his home. To honor Matt’s life, funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Behr Funeral Home, with Bill Hickson officiating. To celebrate Matt’s life, family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m., until the time of services at 6:00 p.m., on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street.
Matt was born on November 7, 1991, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Scott and Mary (Burns) Hendron.
Scott describes Matt’s attributes as the 3M’s: Muskies – his luck fishing was extraordinary, Memory – his recall of details of dates and events was uncanny, and Muscles – he had good physical strength. Matt shared and inspired a great love of skateboarding with his brother, Jack. He also greatly enjoyed snowboarding and participated in National USASA snowboard competitions with his brother, Jack and sister, Caroline. Matt loved the outdoors, especially the fall season when he would watch the Wisconsin Badgers football team. He enjoyed visiting his grandparent’s farm in Elizabeth and his grandparent’s home in Lake Barrington, and loved fishing and camping with his family at Trout Lake in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin.

Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James M. Burns.
