Michael J. Heinrich

Michael J. Heinrich, a cherished family man, and respected chiropractor, passed away at the age of 54 on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at home.

Michael John Heinrich was born on May 23, 1970 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to John Robert “Jack” and Constance Jean “Connie” (Edwards) Heinrich.  He graduated from Maquoketa Community High School in 1989 and continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, earning his degree in 1994. His commitment to helping others was evident in his choice of profession, and he went on to own and operate Heinrich Chiropractic in Maquoketa from 2001 until his passing. Michael’s work ethic was unparalleled; he balanced his chiropractic practice with a longstanding commitment to Richardson’s Trucking in Boscobel, Wisconsin, where he worked for over two decades.

On October 12, 2002, Michael married the love of his life, Danielle Daugherty, in Bellevue, Iowa. Their union was blessed with two daughters, Jori and Jadyn, who were the light of his life. Michael’s love for his family was profound, and he cherished every moment spent with his girls and wife.

Michael’s interests extended beyond his professional life. He had a deep passion for tractors, particularly collecting them and engaging in farm and field work with his beloved IH tractors. His enthusiasm for these machines was more than a hobby; it was a way of connecting with the land he so loved.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Danielle Heinrich of Maquoketa, IA; daughters, Jori Heinrich of Maquoketa, IA, and Jadyn Heinrich of Maquoketa, IA; his mother Connie Heinrich of Zwingle, IA; brothers, Lyle (Jodi) Heinrich of Langworthy, IA, and Wade (Aimee) Heinrich of Zwingle, IA; in-laws, Gina and Ron Hingtgen of Bellevue, IA, David and Deb Koppes of Bellevue, IA, and John Koppes of Maquoketa, IA; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father John “Jack” Heinrich in 2015, and a brother Daniel Heinrich in 1981.

A gathering of family and friends celebrating his life will be held from 4 to 7 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa.  A private family prayer service will be held.  Cremation rites have been accorded, and burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Michael J. Heinrich family.

Online condolences may be left for the family at www.CarsonAndSon.com.
