Mildred “Millie” R. Zeller, 90, of Dubuque, died Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Sunset Park Place Senior Living in Dubuque.

Visitation will be held from 8:30 am until 10:15 am on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Millie will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Gary Mayer as the Celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Key West.

Mildred was born August 26, 1936, in Monona, IA, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Wagner) Voss. On June 27, 1955, she married James Zeller in Monona, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2019.

Millie provided in-home child care for many years, caring for children with patience and kindness.

She enjoyed crafting and fishing and cherished the simple pleasures of spending time with family and friends. Mildred also dedicated 20 years to serving meals at St. Patrick Catholic Church, where she was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include her three children, Suzette (Bill) Dencker of Oviedo, FL, Greg (Kris) Zeller of Davenport, IA, and Gina Zeller of Dubuque; five grandchildren, Travis, Erin (Shane), Maggie (Matt), Emily (Ryan), and Sam (Chelsea); nine great-grandchildren, William, Zachary, Anthony, James, Jensen, Nolan, Sterling, Slater, and Cyrus; three siblings, Bernadine Kirschbaum of Lancaster, WI, Milton (Kay) Voss of Decorah, IA, and Marie Farmer of Fischer, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Millie was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Voss.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque or the Alzheimer’s Association.
