Nicholas T. Rozinek

Nicholas “Nick” T. Rozinek, 37, of Dubuque, died Friday, June 21, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory.

The Funeral Service for Nick will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Dubuque, at a later date.

Nick was born February 7, 1987, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Brian Rozinek and Renee Trimble. On May 18, 2024, he married Casey Troy in Dubuque.

Nick graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 2005. He then attended the University of Dubuque where he graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in 2009.

Nick worked for UPS, Coca Cola, Kloeckner, and most recently Prairie Farms. He was a Teamster Union Steward. Nick loved baseball, especially watching his son, Cayden play. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He also enjoyed going to concerts with Casey and doing wood crafting. Most of all, he cherished time spent with family. Of all of the titles he’s had, Dad was his favorite.

Survivors include his wife, Casey Rozinek of Dubuque; his son, Cayden Rozinek; his father, Brian Rozinek; his step-children, Chayce, Dawson, Dylan, Drake, Izzy, and Brielle Alexander; two sisters, Courtney (Vince) Ciamaichelo of Bradenton, FL; and Katelynn (James) Crouch of Chicago, IL; and nephews and niece, Wesley, Ryan, Natalie, and Liam.

Nick was preceded in death by his mom, Renee Trimble; two aunts, Robin Hilding and Karen Moore; grandma, Genevieve Welsh; grandpa, Charles Rozinek; and cousin, Ashley Wenman.

In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial has been established.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque for their care given to Nick.
