Norman G. Fensterman, 76, of Dubuque, passed away peacefully at Dubuque Specialty Care on Saturday, December 11, 2021.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Local arrangements are entrusted at Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue.

Norman was born Nov 21, 1945 to Orval and Dorothy F. (Blaker) Fensterman in Waterloo, Iowa. He was the  3rd of 7 children. Norman graduated from Ed-Co High School and then attended diesel mechanic school.  He served his country in the United State Air Force 1965-1969.  Norman then worked at John Deere Dubuque Works as a tractor mechanic.

Survivors include his children, Mark (Jeni) Fensterman, Justin Fensterman, and Sue Ann (Brent) Mollenhauer; grandchildren:   Isaiah, Bailey & Kaden Fensterman, Vivienne & Olivia Fensterman and Ava, Emma & Will Mollenhauer;  a sister-in-law, Karyl Fensterman, a sister Darla Kickbush, brothers John (Kathy) Fensterman, Charlies (Margie) Fensterman, sisters Marsha Fensterman and Diane Strain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother David and brother-in-law  William Strain.
