He founded the Apple Canyon Lake Bass Club and remained a longtime member. Above all else, Norm cherished his family.
He was a proud father to Bryan (Jolene) Bohnsack and B’Ann (Dan) Dittmar; a loving PawPaw to Ariel (Craig) Weatherby, Brynn (Payton) Calow, Brayden, and Addy Bohnsack, Chase, and Brooke Dittmar; a blessed great-grandfather of Mya Breeze and Maddox Weatherby, and Cooper Calow; a brother-in-law to Mike (Shelly) and Marc (Michele) McCoy, and Bill (Karon) Oldenburg; and a proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his loyal dog, Jack, who was a faithful companion.
Norm was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, Randy, a sister, Sherry, and a sister-in-law, Bettze Libson.
The family invites those who knew Norm to remember him by petting a dog, spending time outdoors, sharing time with family, and telling a hunting or fishing story, or both.
