Patricia A. (Kuhle) Fleege, 72, of Hazel Green, WI, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, at Sinsinawa, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, with Fr. Peter Auer officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Sinsinawa, WI.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8th at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, and from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.

Pat was born March 22, 1952, in Dubuque, IA, to LaVern and Doris (Hilby) Kuhle. She attended grade school at Immaculate Conception in Kieler, WI, high school at St. Clara Academy in Sinsinawa, WI, and college at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree (major in mathematics and minors in computer science and accounting). Pat married her high school sweetheart, Thomas (Tom) Fleege on January 6, 1973. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2020. Pat was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Parish in rural Hazel Green, WI, where she assumed many roles within the community.

Pat was a part-time bookkeeper at St. Joseph’s Parish until she assumed the role of full-time bookkeeper at Southwestern School District in 1997 where she worked until 2019. She was also a devoted farmer’s wife to her husband and mother to her seven daughters. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with her grandchildren and her treasured friends.

Pat leaves behind seven daughters…Dr. Tracy Fleege, Amy (Ryan) Hilvers, Kate (Tom) Koeller, Cheri (Brett) Wheelan, Michelle (Aaron) Raulin, Amanda (Tony) Gaul, and Dr. Jen (Ryan) Ketterhagen…and 16 grandchildren (Jackson, J.J., Cole, Kailey Hilvers; Lauren, Emily, Evan Koeller; Lincoln, Landon, Layton Wheelan; Charlotte, Lily, Violet Raulin; Eli, Carson, Will Gaul). She is also survived by her siblings, Rick (Karen) Kuhle, Dan (Claire) Kuhle, Mary Jo (Beaner) Runde, Ron (Carolyn) Kuhle, Kate (Bill) Vickerman, Ken (Jane) Kuhle, Tina Kuhle…three in-laws, Mary Ann (Ed) Richard, Joan (Jake) Johnston, Lee Ann Kuhle…and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Fleege; three siblings, Janet (Jerald) Kowalski, Diane O’Shea, Steve Kuhle; her parents, LaVern and Doris Kuhle; her in-laws, Jerome (Bud) and Rosie Fleege; and three nephews, Kurt Richard, Adam Runde, and Alex Kuhle.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat’s memory to Hospice of Dubuque.
