Patricia Ann Omberg, 92, of Galena, IL passed away March 31st, 2024.

She was a graduate of Pecatonica High School, St Anthony Hospital School of Nursing, University of IL Research Hospital.

Her career included Litchfield Memorial Hospital in Minnesota, Rockford Memorial Hospital for more than 25 years as staff nurse and Chief Nurse of Coronary Intensive Care.

Patricia was a member of the DAR – Daughters of the American Revolution. She spent her summers with her family at her beautiful lake home in Minnesota. She enjoyed cooking & entertaining family and friends. She was also the co-owner with her daughters of Carlotta’s Boutique in Rockford, IL for 22 years, and enjoyed her winters in Galena, IL for the past 17 years. She touched many lives in her 92 years.

Survivors include her brother Roger Karsk, Jr (Sharon), her children Carla Coppotelli, Caryn Christensen, Eric Omberg (Pauline), Granddaughter Cassandra, Great-Grandchildren Cortni and Jacen. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Preceded in death by her husband Donald Omberg, Sister Nancy Hachmeister, Parents Roger & Irene Karsk. And her grandson Nicholas Christensen.
