Patrick John Joester, 75, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away at his home on November 18, 2023. Private family services were held November 24th at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Crematory, of Dubuque followed by interment services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.

Patrick was born on October 8, 1948 in Manchester, Iowa to Donald and Kathleen (Tegeler) Joester. He grew up in Dyersville, Iowa, attending St. Francis Xavier Grade School and High School. He served two years in the U.S. Army and then worked 30 years at John Deere Dubuque Works, retiring in 2002.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Lori, daughter Katie (Brian) Mitchell, grandchildren, Ben and Elise, siblings Pam (Scott) Nesteby, Peggy (Tim) Michaelsen, Paul (Sara) Joester, Phyllis Becker, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
