Paul was born on November 14, 1941, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Sylvester and Genevieve (Lightfoot) Beversdorf.
Paul was a hard worker and was employed with Oeth Construction building beautiful homes for 19 years. He also cut trees for Terry Lyons and gathered reclaimed building materials for Dennis Sharkey. Paul truly was a jack of all trades, and if there was money to be made, Paul would find a way to make it. He married Frances E. Price on December 18, 1968, in Galena, Illinois. They had a wonderful family together and celebrated 23 years of marriage before she sadly passed away in 1991. Paul was a long time member of St. Patrick’s Church in Dubuque. In his free time he enjoyed working on his antique cars and playing bingo. Paul also loved going out to eat with his family. Banana Cream pie was his favorite dessert. Paul will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
